Origin

Taizhou, 2003.

We started in a workshop in Taizhou, leading windows for churches and old houses. We were three people. We learned by leading.

Twenty-two years on, the workshop is two factories and three hundred and fifty pairs of hands. The work is the same. We still draw the cartoon. We still cut the glass. We still ship a panel because someone in another country wanted a wall to be remembered.

Factory and projects

The floor, and where the work went.

Two factories in Taizhou. A third under construction in Vietnam. Cutting tables, kilns, lead lines, crates — and the buildings the panels went into. Photographed by the team.
